Ann is a qualified counsellor having studied at Leeds University and therefore has a responsibility to you to work within the guidelines of the British Association of Counsellors Psychotherapy (BACP) ethical framework for good practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She provides individual counselling in a safe environment for a variety of different issue E.g. Relationship Problems, Loss and Bereavement, Low Self Esteem, Anxiety and Stress. If you are experiencing any of these you may benefit from talking to a counsellor such as Ann.
As a counsellor she helps people to explore feelings and emotions using the professional skills of a highly trained counsellor who creates a close therapeutic relationship with her client. She is accepting, honest, empathetic and impartial.
The goal of counselling is to help you find a solution to your problems, gain insights and express feelings, change behaviour or become more fully alive. Successful counselling feels like something has changed – something is different. You feel more hope and self confidence.
